The letter to Santa Claus nowadays

Christmas as many other recurrences comes back every year, beating time and knocking at your door always at the same time. While this circular timeline spins around, habits and lifestyle change and so do we. While Santa Claus runs from house to house every Christmas Eve, bringing presents and a hint of magic, we find ourselves filling wishlists on Amazon instead of putting on our coats and walk the streets looking for gifts. Today even a traditional recurrence is a matter of social pages, links and shares. This is the kind of thoughts that brought me to realize my new illustration. Inspired by a pic posted on the Luisa Beccaria’s Instagram profile showing this lovely look surrounded by Tiffay’s packages, I illustrated what I mean for “the letter to Santa” nowadays. I hope you’ll like it!
