Prada Spring 2017

This couple of models was immortalized in the Prada’s backstage, last Thursday, during the Milan Fashion Week. I depicted them after a long scrolling and browsing on That brought me on thinking about when I was a girl a little girl who loved to enjoy fashion shows on TV during the summer holidays. Every time, I was enchanted. Grew up teen, there were no smartphones or Instagram, so I used to wait for the magazine’s runway insert on their September issue.

That bought me to think about how easy it became, over time, to find fashion images which are so numerous that you’re spoiled of the choice. This is one of the reason why I’m so enthusiastic about fashion illustration. Because of its power to catch the eyes and to tickle imagination on a way that photography simply can’t do.

This is the kind of thoughts that were running on my mind while I drew this twins, turning nostalgic feelings on a delicate ensemble. I chose a soft touch to depict a collection which spoke a minimalistic language, colored with a touch of irony. Probably one of my favorite collection coming out from Miuccia’s pencil.
